Salary: £21,000 | Hours: 40 per week | Contract: Permanent (after probation)

 

We are seeking a committed Christian to inspire faith among children, young people, and families across the Narberth & Tenby LMA. The role is open to lay applicants or ordained clerics in communion with the Church in Wales. It would suit a self-supporting cleric.

 

Role Overview

  • Build strong links with local primary & secondary schools through assemblies, clubs, and pastoral support
  • Create welcoming spaces for children and youth to explore faith and grow as disciples
  • Work collaboratively with clergy, lay leaders, and volunteers to strengthen existing ministries and pioneer new ones
  • If ordained: Provide pastoral and sacramental ministry within one church community

Person Specification

Essential: Active Christian faith, experience with children/youth/families, strong communication and organisation, safeguarding awareness (training provided), full driving licence.

 

Desirable: Relevant CYF qualification, Welsh language skills, project/grant experience, digital & social media confidence.
