Job Description

End of life is an incredibly challenging time for patients and those important to them, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It takes a particular type of person to join a spiritual care team to provide the necessary support. Are you that person?

Hospice in the Weald is looking to appoint a chaplain to offer spiritual care across the organisation for patients and those important to them. The successful candidate will need to be ordained or licensed by a recognised community and connected to a faith or secular community with spiritual supervision and ministry experience in a healthcare setting.

Hospice in the Weald strives to ensure that the community we serve has access to compassionate, personalised, and holistic care for everyone in our community living with a terminal illness and for those important to them. Our Hospice in Pembury is in a beautiful rural setting, close to historic Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent and just 30 miles south of London.

As well as working in a truly rewarding working environment, our benefits include career development opportunities, subsidised restaurant, generous pension and annual leave entitlement, including the opportunity to buy and sell holiday, free parking, and a cycle to work scheme.
