Required for September 2020
We are looking to appoint a Chaplain to lead the spiritual life of our thriving
co-educational day and boarding school, located in beautiful surroundings in West Sussex.
The Chaplain oversees worship at the College, leading weekly services in the stunning Chapel during term-time, as well as offering other services and support to the College community, such as baptisms, confirmation, weddings and funerals. The Chaplain co-ordinates charitable activities at the College and oversees the Community Service programme.
The Chaplain should expect to be highly involved in the wider life of the College, engaging with students and building relationships away from the formalities of the Chaplaincy. This could take the form of either academic or co-curricular involvement, or indeed a combination of the two. If the successful candidate is involved in teaching academic lessons (in any subject) then they will receive a heavily reduced teaching load.
Accommodation will be provided on site at low cost. Competitive salary, fee remission scheme. Lunch and refreshments provided free of charge throughout term time.
