Job Description

Huggens College was founded in 1844 as an Almshouse. The 21st C. upgraded buildings include a Chapel and College Room, providing 30 units of accommodation and two resident members of staff. (see www.huggenscollege.org )

 

The Trustees are seeking to appoint an Anglican Priest, nearing retirement or retired, to be licensed by the Bishop of Rochester, to provide spiritual and pastoral care for College residents and to be responsible for the administration and day-to-day running of the community. The post is residential (a four bedroom house is provided) and requires a dedicated person with sensitivity towards elderly people from a wide range of Anglican traditions.

 

Good administrative, IT and line-management skills also required.
