Chaplain

St Chad’s wishes to appoint a Chaplain (0.5 FTE). We are seeking an energetic, outgoing priest who will relate easily to young adults and college staff. The successful candidate will have an exciting and compelling vision for chaplaincy that extends well beyond the Chapel. He or she will be demonstrably committed to exploring links between faith, justice and society. For the right candidate, there is also the possibility of either a further 0.5 FTE role in College to support our outreach programme, or a further part-time role as priest in charge or house for duty in charge of a nearby parish.

The successful applicant will need to be licenced by the Bishop of Durham and the appointment is subject to enhanced DBS checks
