Job Description

The Bishop seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and committed priest to lead the congregation in growth and to serve the wider community, in stunning Malta based in the city of Sliema.


Applicants should:

  • be able to be our Shepherd who will guide us through our spiritual lives.
  • lead lay training programmes and Bible study courses.
  • be a skilful preacher and relate the liturgy and bible readings to topical events in our lives.
  • be able to lead worship which is spiritually uplifting and has a positive impact on peoples’ lives.
  • have the ability and commitment to provide pastoral care to all the Church members but especially to the sick and dying.
  • the ability to lead the management of our chaplaincy and secure its long-term future
  • be able to build strong ecumenical relationships
