The Bishop is looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and energetic priest to serve this large and diverse community in the capital city of Spain.
Applicants should be able to help develop outreach and deepen discipleship, build on the potential that already exists, and lead the chaplaincy into the future with a clear vision of the Church’s mission and ministry.
The ability to lead a team which includes a Reader and an Ordinand as well as very capable lay people is essential. A commitment to working ecumenically is essential, as is the ability to speak Spanish or the willingness to learn.
The attractive financial package includes a stipend of €27,500 plus Church of England Pension contributions, fully furnished apartment with all utilities paid and normal working expenses.
If you feel that you can help the chaplaincy achieve its goals and would like to be part of a multicultural congregation in one of the most appealing capitals in Europe, we’d love to hear from you.
