Job Description

This exciting post requires a compassionate and resourceful chaplain with significant experience in caring for children and families at times of illness and bereavement. We are looking for someone who feels a calling to continue the development of a high standard of religious, spiritual and pastoral care for patients, staff and families in our
Children’s Hospital and across the Trust.


The post will be 37.5 hours per week with additional on call. The post-holder will be an integral member of a strong and supportive ecumenical and multi faith chaplaincy team serving across the four sites of the Oxford University Hospital, with particular responsibility for paediatric chaplaincy.


The post is open to ordained and non-ordained minsters and pastoral carers of the Church of England or Roman Catholic Church or those in good standing with member churches of the Free Churches group or the equivalent of that person’s faith or belief group who are well qualified through experience and training to lead this work.
