Associate Minister

Ilmington Benefice

West Midlands

Ref: JN006015

Job Description

Jesus Christ spent time within ‘towns and villages.’ Smaller communities matter. If, like Jesus, you can rejoice in the ‘small’ of villages, and want to serve in a benefice which will genuinely shape your ministry around your personal gifts and skills,
we would love to hear from you!

(House for Duty or Self-supporting basis)

We welcome applications from candidates who:

  • Are passionate and prayerful about effective mission in a rural context, interested in, understanding and enjoying the
countryside and the people within it.
  • Can lead inspiring worship with some small congregations,
ranging from informal worship to Book of Common Prayer, and be an inspiring and motivational preacher.
  • Are able to develop small groups, and lead effective exploration of Christian faith courses (for example any of ALPHA, Emmaus, Christianity Explored, Pilgrim, or home made!).
  • Would like the space and freedom to use their God-given gifts and skills.
