We are expanding our music department at St Mark’s Hamilton Terrace and are seeking a talented musician to become our new Assistant Director of Music from September 2019. We are also offering a number of choral scholarships for the academic year 2019/20.
Assistant Director of Music
Supporting the Director of Music and working alongside the Director of the Junior Choir, the Assistant Director of Music will play a key role in continuing and enhancing the church’s thriving musical tradition. St Mark’s has a committed and accomplished voluntary choir that enjoys performing a wide range of music within worship as well as at concerts and special events.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and committed musician, holding the ARCO or an equivalent level diploma, and be a capable
singer with an interest in choral conducting. They will be committed to their own musical development and able to demonstrate their
commitment to the choral tradition of the Church of England.

Applications for choral scholarships are welcomed from enthusiastic singers of any voice part who are currently in secondary or tertiary
education and want to develop their skills whilst contributing to the
musical life of the church. There will be up to 4 scholarship holders in the choir at any given time.
