Archdeaconry Training Adviser & Vicar of St Nicholas Beverley
This dual role offers a great opportunity for someone with a heart for
enabling others lay and ordained, to develop their missional ministry. At this pivotal time in planning the Diocese’s strategy, the Training Team will be instrumental in supporting clergy and lay people in fulfilling their calling to reach people we currently don’t, grow the church and establish sustainable finances, with the successful applicant having a particular focus in developing the gifts of the laity.
St Nick’s is a small but aspirational church with a big friendly heart and a vision to share. Our new Vicar will be comfortable in an Open Evangelical parish and will lead us as we look to deepen our reach into the community and grow numerically. Along with ordained and lay colleagues, you will enable us to use our gifts and learn to listen to God.
