We are seeking two new senior colleagues to share in our faithful and hopeful ministry of leadership and service in the Diocese of Bangor.
Over recent years, we’ve established clear principles and priorities for our common life as a diocese, and radically reshaped our parochial and diocesan structures to better support our vision of a Church rooted in worship, committed to growth, and dedicated to loving service.
As we step forward in faith and hope, we are in 2018 reviving the two ancient archdeaconries in the north of the diocese which were merged in the nineteenth century, and combining the archidiaconal roles with the leadership of two dynamic Ministry Areas.
We’re therefore searching for two priests with profound gifts of leadership and pastoral care – gifts that will enable them to lead a local ministry team; to accompany colleagues across the archdeaconry in reinvigorated mission, purposeful planning and deeper accountability; and to work closely with the Bishop, Dean, Diocesan Secretary and fellow Archdeacons to shape and share our faithful and hopeful diocesan vision.
