Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated chaplaincy team in a crucial role: providing pastoral and faith specific care to prisoners and staff; acting as a faith adviser to the establishment; and contributing to the development of chaplaincy provision in this busy prison within the Female Estate.


Applications are open to Ordained Deacons (including Priests), Readers, Church Army Officers and Religious Brothers or Sisters in the Anglican Church.


An unsociable hours allowance of 17% will be paid in addition to the salary (£26,438 - £29,760) acknowledging the necessity of evening, bank holiday, weekend and on-call working.
