Job Description

Full-time (35 hrs per week)

Salary: £36,082.50 (clergy employees wishing to remain in the Clergy Pension Scheme will be required to make a 5% salary sacrifice to reflect the enhanced benefit of the Clergy Pension Scheme). Based in our Diocesan Office in North Bristol


Do you have the passion and skills to inspire support and develop lay ministers, and help develop a strategy for lay ministry that reflects the diversity of the Diocese and the needs of the Church in this generation?


The Adviser for Lay Ministry will oversee all aspects of lay ministry and deliver high quality theological education. S/he will help the Bishop’s Staff team to develop an approach to lay ministry that will serve the needs of the church today.
